Fantastic book I got old version as well, but not good for newbies, you need some thorough understanding or project management and its methodologies, bit dry but contains almost everything to the point as we need.

Good book 27 Mar 2011
Format:Paperback
A good book covering the basics of project management. Language can be a little challenging in places and sometimes I felt that that the authors had attempted to over complicate the explanations. Probably best aimed at those who already have some experience of project management.

Still at the early stages of getting through this, but it seems to be extremely helpful as far as following the PMP course is concerned.

Images on kindle
My opinion concerns the kindle edition and not the book itself. The kindle zooming feature is rather basic and some images are really hard to visualize.

PM
The book is written in a manual form. Not many examples or feedback from case studies. Not very helpful for self-study.
