A Great Book for Web PM 13 Jan 2012
By Dave Dolliver - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I've been in web development and project management since 1995, and I can safely say that this book synthesizes all I've learned the hard way. Emond & Steins are thorough and cover much of what needs to be done to develop web projects under $500k (though much of what they teach will serve you beyond that point). If you're a web developer whose just started out, or need to improve your real world web PM skills, this book is for you. They have taken their hard won knowledge, gotten through occasionally painful experiences, and turned it into your path to successful web project management. Also, if you are about to embark on procuring a web development firm to build your project, this book is for you. Use this book to ensure your developer is thorough and following the right steps to make your web project succeeds. In fact, I'd go so far as to suggest you ask them to buy a copy before you engage their services. Make sure they know you know, what good web PM is all about!

Concise details and ideas any web project manager will find useful 29 Dec 2011
By Bill Torrey - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book takes a lot of the pain out of web project management, and has some excellent ideas for meetings and real specifics that can really impress your paying clients. Very worthwhile and helpful for anyone managing web developers!
Practical and to the point 16 Mar 2012
By M. Wong - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I skimmed this book on a recent flight, and found some great tips and strategies. The book has a readable style. I particularly like the example situations which resonate well with other web projects I have encountered. The sample documents in the appendix are great, but why don't they make them available as PDFs or Word document templates for download?
