Amazon Verified Purchase
A very different take on the genre of fantasy art. You must be open minded and adult to appreciate the contents, and it is not advisable for kids in any way shape or form.
However, it does give some valuable insights into the world of fantasy art, and some amazing pieces of art.
The downside to this is that we are paying for a collector slipcase..... which turns up flat packed and attached to the book by plastic wrap. The collector slipcase is card, basic and rather tatty looking, so nothing I would want on my bookshelf. It went straight in the recycle pile. I think I shall stick with the book and not the collector case!
Other than that, this book truly deserves its five stars for something very different to the usual dwarf-facing-down-dragon images of fantasy art.

Being an avid Louis Royo fan i bought this book as a gift for a very good friend.Guess im going to have to buy another as i cant part with it..one of the drawings will be my next tattoo.

If your into fantasy art with an adult twist, this artist is a master. Great source of reference or just as a nice to have library addition on this artist. Further great titles available if you want to explore this artist further.
