Some books I have read leave you learning very little about the author and end up wondering if they really are knowledgeable and experienced to write a book. However, with Robin Shaw's book "From Beginners To Winners" we get to hear his journey as an entrepreneur and find out that he is ideally placed to bring together the success stories of so many different people from many different walks of life.

Each chapter is easy to read and is written in the same way as Robin conducted the interviews with each of the 16+ successful property investors. There are key leanings at the end of each chapter, hints and tips highlighted stand out so you remember them more easily and ideas for further reading and education also compliment the end of each chapter.

In each chapter Robin draws out the key points from the successful property investors he interviewed. He asks them their strategy and why they took a particular course of action and what drove them to do it. For some it is to leave a legacy for their children, for others to be able to fire their boss and become financially free. I particularly like the last chapter which I have not seen anywhere else from an author "What I learnt from writing this book". We look forward to the next book and more inspirational stories from successful people.

This book might not teach you the step by step strategies you need to use in today's changing enviroment in order to be a successful property investor.......but it will show you that any ordinary person can succeed in property and make a decent living out of it. Highly recommended!!!

Having read many property books, I find them a bit samey. I was skeptical of a 3rd book on property from one author - what could be new? But I actually really like the concept. I have a handful of buy to lets but am by no means an expert, but this book really makes me want to step up and take my investing to the next level. You can't help but be inspired by all the people in the book, and it's refreshing not for it to be a gurus ego trip. I also learned some new techniques and strategies. This is a unique book in property.
