The Progression series of DVD's from Fat Sand have been around for as long as I can remember, many of you will be familiar with them already. This is the new Beginner DVD and it brings a welcome update to the order version that has been out for some time. In this new volume the team cover off a similar skill set but making it much more relevant to today's kitesurfer. Once again they use some great animation over the video to ensure you can see what is going on. And the narration is clear concise and exactly what you need to fully understand the techniques shown. As an added bonus it features our very own Technique editors Christian and Karine! The DVD won't replace lessons, but closely follow the modern teaching model so should you have lessons in the future or have had them in the past it will build on that knowledge base. If you are learning to kitesurf or thing about getting involved in the sport then this is essential property. Have bought a few kitesurfing books but none come close to this DVD, covers the basics very well ....the instruction is put across to the viewer clearly and concisely, something which the books struggle to do.......if a picture is worth a thousand words then a film clip is worth ten thousand! !!!
I bought this DVD for my Wife as i am not a very good teacher. I watched most of the dvd with her and I was pleasantly surprised at the well laid out content and presentation. I think its an excellent additional learning tool for any beginner.

Great DVD, which will give a beginner some great tips, however as with most instructional DVDs you will also need lessons from an experienced kitesurfer if you want to learn safely.
