How dare they imply they own XML? 8 Mar 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
I have not read this book because it was not available at the time I wrote this. However, I strongly object to the implication that XML is a Microsoft format, when it was developed by the W3C, and cannot understand what the 2.0 is referring to, as XML is currently at release 1.0.

Obnoxious 18 Mar 1999

Microsoft up to it's old tricks. If you want a good XML book, get the one by AW. At least they attempt at following the standard, rather than mis-representing it.

How dare they imply they own XML? 8 Mar 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
I have not read this book because it was not available at the time I wrote this. However, I strongly object to the implication from the title that XML is a Microsoft format, when it was developed by the W3C, and while I believe that the version number (2.0) is referring to the software kit, it could easily be misinterpreted to mean the version of XML, when XML is currently at release 1.0.
