Not a great book at all I'm afraid. I have read it from cover to cover which didn't take long as there aren't many pages. I can't see who the book is pitched at. The text operates at such a high level that I am not sure even those with a basic understanding of the issues would get anything out of it. It's not a great book to read but then nor is it good reference material. And finally, I'm afraid the cover price is extremely high for what you get. I am sure there are better books on Amazon - I'm off to find one.

the book briefly describes MSP standards at level usable by management staff. If one wants to know what is program management in general, and has limited time - it is the right choice for him.
If you need to know what is program management in details - it's better to read the standard itself.
