It's great to see this doco series on Hitler has finally been released on dvd, especially how it was never released in Australia. It presents Hitler's personality in an interesting way like never before, from his abusive upbringing through to his artistic days in Vienna, then his frontline action in WW1 and eventual takeover of the German Workers Party, through to his leadership of Germany and his conduct during WW2.
This insight is well backed up with interviews of officer's and civilian's giving their eyewitness account's of events during the period. The only let down of this dvd release is that it has been recorded directly off vhs, making the picture quality average, but otherwise it's still an enjoyable production by Guido Knopp!!!
