My five year old daughter and I both love this book, and it's a favourite at bedtime. As ever the Korky Paul illustrations are detailed and wonderful. The story is about the professors assistant, the slothful and envious Enzo, and how his bad behaviour leads to his downfall. Also featuring such inventive ideas as the banana-matic and unburnable toast...and we have yet to discover what magdeburg hemispheres are...

No No Enzo 16 Jun 2011
Format:Paperback
Professor Puffendorf's lazy assistant, Enzo, grumbles a lot when he cleans. When the professor goes out for a conference, Enzo jumps up to her desk and grabs the professor's dish of peppermints. And then his eyes gleam upon the top secret cabinet. He open's it and steals all the potions. Now I will leave you find out for your self.

I think it is a brilliant book because it is very mysterious and interesting. It is absolutely stunning because all the illustrations are wonderful. This book is superb and I recommend this to 3 to 8 year olds. This is a marvellous book because it is colourful.

Magic :) 29 May 2011
Format:Paperback
My 3 year old son had a copy of another Korky Paul book called "The fish who could wish". Professor Puffendorf was advertised on the back and my son decided that this should be his next book. He absolutely adores Professor Puffendorf and he particularly likes the part where Chip gets red curly hair. He also enjoys spotting other characters from other Korky Paul books.
This was well worth the money. :)
