Product Description

Finally on sale the PREMIUM Edition of the acclaimed adventure! Includes a bonus of 1000 gems and a full game guide that will help you discover all the secrets of the Pyramid.

In 1930, the prestigious Prof. Baboo teaches Archeology at the university. Although he is actually pretty clueless, Baboo always wants to impress his favorite student, Dorothy, for whom he feels "something special". Dorothy is a nerdy student; even though she is not very attractive, she is sharp and determined. Both will live an incredible adventure inside the Pyramid of Khafre.

After getting lost in a university trip, they end up in the most dismal chamber of the pyramid. After desecrating it, they fall under the curse of Anubis, being hopelessly trapped. Together they must find a way to break the curse, and face the fearsome Mummy that inhabits the pyramid, as well as other dangers and mysteries.

Prof. Baboo and the Chamber of Chaos is a game that blends action and adventure with the spirit of the classics. Step into the characters’ shoes and explore scenarios, delve for secret passages, examine the maps and make use of helpful objects to make progress in the adventure. Unravel the mysteries of the secret chambers, including the Chamber of Chaos, the most enigmatic of all. Luckily, there are clues hidden in the notes and maps that the eminent archeologist J.L. Burckhardt left scattered long after his investigation of the pyramid’s secrets. But the adventure has just begun, and, in the end, the most amazing and best kept archeological secret will be revealed.

Finish the greatest adventure of your life!

This game, speech bubbles aside, is brilliant! The graphics are superb on my kindle fire HD and so is the sound quality, the music and sound effects of which, are superb. I love the fact that the game comes with a tutorial as so many of the latest apps are sadly lacking in these. The game is very fast flowing and involves leading two characters around a pyramid picking up gems and clues as they go round trying to uncover the secret within. I think the various "baddies" who have to try and stop our two heroes are fun, especially the mummy but the snakes etc. were great also. The speech bubble controversy is really a "storm in a teacup" for me as I managed to keep up with the dialogue but for others it might be a bit challenging, however it is fairly easy to play the game without it.

This game is so awesome and I have got it as the free app of the day so that makes it all the better! 1000 free gems as well! This would usually cost money but I didn't have to pay but I would for such a good app. Well done xxx please bring of more games like this (a second)? As this is fantastic. One tiny thing, maybe a life because I sort of struggle to stay alive. But thanks all the same xx

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't see the problem 21 Feb 2014

I can't see what the problem with the speech bubbles is. I found I was having to tap to get rid of them as they stayed on the screen more than long enough to read them. Even if they are a problem, the rest of the game is good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic 21 Feb 2014

A fantastic, frustrating game. The speech bubbles at the beginning were fast, but for me still easily read before they vanished. The game is good and not that easy. Well worth downloading.

The basic game concept is definitely pretty fun, and the graphics and sound are great. A minor annoyance is putting things down on a table when you don't want to. My real big complaint though is that I can't save way more (like perhaps whenever both characters are in red mice rooms?)... starting over from the beginning after making decent progress irks me, especially while I'm still feeling my way around as a beginner. Also, simply because I might want to exit the app and do something else. I know you can save "between levels" but...

3.0 out of 5 stars RIP Dorothy.... again and again and again! 21 Feb 2014

I don't think any game where I kill off a main character within minutes of starting is for me.
I couldn't figure out if there was a way to revive her and quite frankly I lost interest, but was entertained for a while pushing her about the place before shoving her in a corner.

I liked the graphics and music and I think I'd enjoy the game play of solving riddles and collecting useful stuff but I'd prefer to only have one character to move about (similar to Prof Leyton where other characters are sidekicks).

Give it a go, I think if you can play without commiting Dorothycide it'd be fun.
