I'm a SharePoint consultant who bought this book to upgrade my skills from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010. #

This book delivers on explaining complex technical subjects in a readable and engaging way. All to often technical literature is written in a way which is informative but it's more than a struggle to read without a strong cup of coffee and the iron will to finish a chapter, thankfully this publication doesn't read like that.

I'm using this book to study for my SharePoint 2010, Configuring exam and I know others in my team have bought the same book. Todd Klint is a well known and respected SharePoint expert and with the other co-authors has produced a great tool for any SharePoint administrator's toolbox.

I am a MOSS Server farm administrator and am currently studying for the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 IT pro certifications. I write a SharePoint blog called "Tales from a SharePoint Farm".

I purchased this book to "upgrade" my skills for SharePoint 2010. With around 2 years experience in MOSS I needed a book with a fair amount of technical depth whilst explaining complex topics (such as the new SA architecture) in a concise manner.

The book has not let me down and if anything has got me even more excited about the new version of the product. I would heartily recommend it to anyone planning on looking after a 2010 farm.

Good book. 4 Nov 2011
Format:Paperback
It's one of the better books out there for SharePoint 2010 (it's good on the Kindle as well). If you are sitting the Config exam then this book is a must. Naturally, the more books you read the better but this book has an adequate go at it. The author is well known as well in the community - as a previous reviewer has mentioned.

In SharePoint terms, a list is a collection of data stored in rows and columns, similar to a spreadsheet. A library is a specialized type of list that enables the storage of files, such as documents, images, and even web pages, in addition to the data that can be collected in the list. "e;
