Product Description

At the end of the war, Sara Boskelly joined thousands of other young women on the long journey to America, hoping to be reunited with the handsome GI who had captured her heart. Sadly for Sara, the voyage was to end in bitter disappointment. Now she must return to her Cornish hometown to face the gossip and scandal she left in her wake. A sadder and wiser woman, she must make her peace with her parents and win the forgiveness of the childhood sweetheart she cruelly betrayed. For Sara now knows that the talented artist, Robbie Killaine, is the man she loved all along. But Sara hasn't reckoned on Miriam Roche, Robbie's new love. Furious at the prodigal daughter's return, Miriam is determined to keep hold of her man. Whatever it takes. And that's not the only shock in store for Sara ...

A nice easy read 15 May 2011
Format:Paperback
The "Prodigal Daughter" has returned it is not a happy one. After running after the GI that captured her heart, Sara Boskelly is back in her Corish hometown. But Sara is not married and now she has to faced everyone that she left. Including Robbie Killaine, the young man that she had been seeing before the Yanks came to town. But Robbie has moved with the Vicar's daughter Miriam and if Sara is not careful she might find herself alone forever.
"The Prodigal Daughter" by Rachel Moore is a pretty good book. Ms. Moore shows how sometimes the dream does not come true and you are left to deal with the fallout. Overall I liked the "Prodigal Daughter" and would read more by Ms. Moore.
