The Sun Mousse (formerly Bergaderm) is a non-sticky mousse which is quickly absorbed into the top layer of the skin. This means it cannot be washed or rubbed off, making it ideal for active children and adults. The Sun Mousse was developed from a cream to alleviate conditions such as eczema, and as such is suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin allergic to conventional sunscreens. I have purchased this product for a number of years under a number of different product names: Bergaderm, Proderm & now The Sun Mouse. As a self confessed "Hairy Man" I suffer in the sun. I also have sensitive skin and burn very easily. Therefore choosing a sun protection product is very difficult as a cream usually entails me taking 4hours applying the cream to end up looking like I am attempting a cross channel swim!. Sun sprays are often too fine as well and don't penetrate the fur!. However, this sun mouse, is idea and easy to apply very light and goes on well. Non sticky and the protection is ....well...it just does what it says on the tin!.
This is a product that should be far more widely available and is such good value for money. The whole family use it. Great for applying on kids skins too. A small amount goes for miles. So very economic, too.

It is a rare thing when a product does exactly what it is supposed to! My son has extremely sensitive skin which flared up when sun products were used on him. A friend recommended this to me (6yrs ago) and he hasn't looked back since (he is now 9).
I had tried many children's non allergic products, this genuinely works, it isn't greasy and it has a pleasant smell.

I bought the SPF30 for my recent holiday to Greece. For years when we have been abroad I have broken out in these horrible red, itchy spots on my hands and feet, and also got quite bad spots on my back from using sun cream. I used this product and was amazed as I did not get these itchy lumps (don't know if this is prickly heat??). I also got a nice tan on my back and hardly any spots.
The mousse is really easy to apply - just like hair mousse and sinks in well into your skin. I can't stand how greasy sun creams feel on my skin but with this product your skin just feels normal, not oily. I did re-apply it once or twice a day but just to my back as I could feel my skin burning after a while. I would definately buy this sun mousse again and will buy the SPF 20 as well as the SPF30 next time we go away.

Disappointing
Ordered this as I have very sensitive skin and always wear non chemical creams. Not easy to put on and I developed a rash. In the end I threw the product away.
