Brilliant book. 16 Jan 2011
Format:Paperback
Excellent book. Contains a range of creative problems for children to solve - organised under four chapters 'Finding all the possibilities', 'Finding rules and describing patterns' 'Diagram problems and visual puzzles' and 'Logic problems'. Photocopied sheets for recording are included though sometimes you need extra resources eg. the book Handa's Surprise to undertake it, but nothing too difficult to get hold of.

Fantastic resource 29 Feb 2012
Format:Paperback
All of the titles in this series are great (though not as keen on the science one). Lots of good problem solving ideas, clearly set out so that you can see how to support less able pupils and extend more able ones, would definitely recommend.
The literacy books in this series are also excellent.Creative Activities for Plot, Character & Setting Ages 5-7
