Product Description

Product Description

A spin-off from 'Doctor Who'. The Doctor's former assistant Liz Shaw (Caroline John) and her assistant Bayliss (Linda Lusardi) are investigating a series of murders, which have taken place near a soon-to-be-closed psychiatric hospital. When a rich industrialist unexpectedly buys up the hospital, events takes a shocking twist. Who is harbouring the mystery killer, what age-old horror is hidden in the hospital grounds, and what exactly lies behind the door of room zero? Starring Colin Baker, Jon Pertwee, Sylvester McCoy, and a cameo from another 'Doctor', Peter Davison. Also included is 'Stranger Than Fiction 3', a behind-the-scenes look at the making of 'Doctor Who' spin-offs.

Perfectly standard sci-fi noteable for the number of Dr Who releated people appearing in it. The director is better known for his "Mock Who", noteably the "Stranger" & "Auton" series & he should stick with those but if you're looking for competent sci-fi made to a budget this will do you just fine

This is one of the strange Doctor Who spin-offs which have some thick and fast since the programme ended back in 1989. Colin Baker was the poorest of all the Doctors so why they thought it would be a good idea to cast him alongside the shortlived Doctor Who companion from the seventies, Caroline John, is anybody's guess. The fifteen certificate indicates it is far removed from the programme we knew as the kid's favourite all those years ago. This is complete rubbish and not worth your money.
