ProCook Pizza Stone,
This review is from: ProCook Pizza Stone 38cm / 15in
We used to make Pizza regularly, as a family and although nice, the base was never great. I started looking at various pizza stones, as I heard it helps to create a nice crispy base. After some research, I really wanted the traditional stone bases but at 6 times the price of ProCook, could not justify it. I bought 3 ProCook pizza stone bases (we are a big family !) based on the fact that at such good price I am not risking much, even if it does not work perfectly. To my surprise, it was excellent. The stone base is good quality and comes with a metal stand, to carry it from the oven. The pizza came out with a perfect base. This product, considering the price, has far superseded my expectations.

Crisp Authentic Base,

This review is from: ProCook Pizza Stone 38cm / 15in
If like me you enjoy making your own pizza bases and prefer the thin crisp base as found in pizzerias and don't have the room for a pizza oven then this is for you. Put the stone in a hot oven for 5 minutes to heat up then put your base on followed by the topping of your choice. The result is a light crisp base just how you wnat it. I now have 2 of these and have bought one for my wifes dad. These are 15" diameter so check your oven will be big enough.

Pizza Stone,
This review is from: ProCook Pizza Stone 38cm / 15in
Excellent piece of cookware. Still experimenting with it but a couple ot tips, warm the stone first - so get a pizza paddle to put the pizza on it in the oven. Make sure you have a well floured pizza base as it sticks if you don't. Keep your pizza dry - don't get caried away with the fillings. But what a difference this stone makes. I'll never buy a take away pizza again. PLus all the family enjoys making them.
