  • The new Elemental table is a real "plug'n'play" turntable. No adjustment of counterweight and anti-skating is needed, because both are pre-adjusted. This new straight ultra low mass tonearm is optimised for the Ortofon OM cartridge series.
  • All the buyer needs to do is remove it from the box, remove bearing guard, locate the belt around the platter, remove stylus guard and plug it in.
  • The hidden secret to the new 'table's sonic success, is a central gravity mass point, made from artificial stone and placed directly underneath the platter bearing. It is capable to fully absorb unwanted rumble and motor vibration. This turntable appears to be pure simplicity itself, while maintaining high quality audio standards.

5.0 out of 5 stars An absolute pleasure 7 Dec 2013
Not to be confused with the Swiss government's 1970s promotional campaign for their flagship national cheese (Project Emmental) this is in fact a top notch turntable which looks sexy and sounds it too.

It's got 2 phono cables out with an earth wire, which slotted like a dream into the phono input on my Sherwood amplifier. The other end has a power cable, and that's your lot. A simple plug and play.

Music really is an art and I feel a top quality album deserves the attention of a top quality record player.

It's a treat to lower a piece of vinyl onto the felt mat, drop the tone arm just inside the edge, sit back and enjoy the Project Elemental's sublime sound.

If you're a music enthusiast who's been carried along on the .mp3 bandwagon, step off for a moment (like I did) and remind yourself this is how music should be savoured in all its mechanical glory.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great 2 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase
I purchased this because I have a technics linear track record deck and it just will not play certain records, Colored ones, I have a killers album of which I could not play the 1st track on each side!!! because it is Red in colour. So that is the reason, but wow the sound is great straight out of the box - no intricate set-up routine GRRReat!!! just plug and play just how I like it.
