This is my second BS book and as the first i couldn't put it down, its not romantic by any means and it is very graphic but i book many women who have been cheated on and wanting revenge can possibly relate too!

I picked this book up because the front cover said Extremely sexy - Rendezvous.

I opened the book and stumbled upon one of the many sex scenes.

I realised it was female porn that is porn aimed at females. As a bloke I was interested to see what turned them on apart from shoes and shiny things.

I was on a long aeroplane trip back from the Dominican Republic to UK so I had plenty of time. I learnt that women want to be dominated and that their sexual fantasies revolve around them appearing younger and prettier than they really are and that their fantasy partner are incredibly well endowed and don't ask for sexual favours but take them often and with great vigour.

The rest of the story that was the structure upon which the fantasy was built was less solid.

It revolved around a divorce but heroine got her own back on her husband. It was a revenge story on her husband she turned his new girlfriend against him he could only perform with Viagra and he she got her full revenge.

Really the whole story was a fantasy as she lived a fantasy sex life and in her real life she got herself a job so became financially secure. It all ended happily. even her fantasy lover did not just want her for sex but really loved her.

I will be looking for more of this female erotica to see if any of it is any better than this. I wouldn't for a minute claim I could write better but the non sex scenes were pedestrian and repetitive so it did not mater if you were not paying attention.

I am sure Beatrice Small knows her audience and does very well out of it.

If you want to dip you toe into female pornography then this is the book for you. You will spend a diverting time reading it and as a bloke I see women in a whole new light if this is what they fantasies about .Unfortunately no bloke I know would fit the bill. None of us are that well endowed as far as I am aware, Not that I have researched the matter. I will be lending it around to my female acquaintances and asking them what they think.

If you are already a fan of Ms Small's previous work then no doubt you will enjoy this book. If you are a BS-newbie, I wouldn't if I were you. This was the first BS I have read and it will definitely be the last.
The storyline was virtually non-existent - the book is merely an excuse to sell reams and reams of unemotional, graphic sex with a few characters you don't care about enough to like thrown in as a necessity.
Personally I read only a few chapters of this book before I flicked through to see if the rest of the book was exactly the same. Subsequently I decided to quit and donate it to charity - I certainly wouldn't make anyone else pay the amount I did for this huge disappointment. I'll be going back to Linda Howard, McNaught and Lowell. At least they know how to write real stories as well as romance that is actually romantic.
Romance readers should keep away - romance is the one thing this writer *doesn't* seem to touch on.
