This was a fully character driven romance with a hero and heroine who had both suffered their fair share of angst and came through the other end more vulnerable, scarred and unwilling to trust. The hero was fantastic, we should all be so lucky to get a man like him. The heroine had issues that were easy to relate to, yet you could understand just how debilitating they were. I savoured this book. Can't wait to pick up the next one.
