Patrick Marnham is highly thought of as a travel writer. He has also written biographies. This book is about his time at Private Eye and the history of the first 25 years there. He has a style of writing which doesn't let you go, and with it being about the characters who have brought out the paper you can expect to blow low whistles and laugh.
I recommend this book without any doubts.
