I keep picking them up hoping Mrs Jackson has found her groove again but there is nothing here. Actually, it's pretty boring.

Die hard bachelor falls in love and he thinks about it a lot. Oh yeah, he thinks about making love a lot too. Get it? He thinks about the same thing over and over. I couldn't finish the book.

She doesnt set the scene. He looks at every part of her body and then she looks at his, then they think about it. There is no plot. Oops yes there is, they kiss and get busy and fall in love like the other 2 former die hard Steels.

Bet the other brothers and cousins are also confirmed bachelors. Sounds familiar... The Westmorelands with their twenty-eleven relatives.

Sweet peace, I am not going anywhere near her books.

Friends to lovers... 24 Jan. 2012
By Toni Campbell - Published on
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Private Arrangements is the latest in the Steeles series. They are a very close-knit, large family and this one takes place in the Phoenix branch, also known as the "Bad News Steeles". The six men in this part of the family are referred to that way because they are diehard bachelors, as inherited from their father (who eventually gave that up). But one by one these players are falling...

Jonas Steele has been steadily building his marketing business, Ideas of Steele, and has done well for himself, but he now has the chance to work on a campaign that will catapult his company into the big leagues. In order to ensure success, Jonas decides to hire the best photographer that he knows, Nikki Cartwright. The only problem is that the last time they worked together, a year and a half ago, they shared a celebratory kiss that left both of them confused. Jonas couldn't stop thinking about it, which is out of character for the notorious womanizer. Nikki can't believe that a man used to dating women who could double as supermodels would even be remotely interested in her.

I love stories that feature either friends or work colleagues that become lovers. The work/love twist in Private Arrangements is very interesting to watch unfold, especially with both parties fighting their attraction tooth and nail. A great surprise was the inclusion of Quinton Hinton, a character featured in Adrianne Byrd's House of Kings series. It is rare for authors to support each other that way and it was good to see.

Another great read by Mrs. Jackson 24 Jan. 2012

This book was another hit! I loved the two main characters and the fact that Jonas was such a bad boy. I also loved that one of my favorite characters from another book was mentioned in this book. Quentin Hinton. I can not wait for his story to be released by Adrianne Byrd. Anywho I read this book in one day it was a real page turner and you got to catch up with all the other brothers in this series.

BORING 16 Feb. 2012
By Read A Lot - Published on
Format: Mass Market Paperback
This book is boring and stupid. It took about ten pages to talk about a kiss that happen 18 months ago. Then Nikki will be thinking something in her head and then on the next page the book has to describe the same thing she was just thinking about. If Mrs. Jackson had not done this then the book would have only been about 10 pages.

I found this book to be good for two things putting you to sleep and the trash. It seems all the books are the same now. Man meets woman find her attractive they get together, something happenss they work it out they end up getting married and everyone lives happily ever after. It is time for a change. Please stop changing the covers on your old books and putting them out again.

I'm Weak For You 23 Jan. 2012
By Amazon Customer - Published on
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Whenever Mrs. Jackson write about a Steele family member you know it's going to be hot. Private Arrangement is no exception. Not too many son's will listen to their mothers when it comes to their love life. But most mother know their sons such as Eden Steele and she always knows which one of her sons needs that settle down talk, so that they run right into her psychological trap.
How often will a man recognize or even admit that he may have a weakness for anything much less a woman. Especially when he considers himself crème de la crème of Player's with their usual motto. But like most things once you find yourself going back after seconds your pretty much hooked no matter what it is. Jonas may have replaced his craving for cigarettes with Tootsie Pops, but nothing or no one can replace the scent of a woman that your mind and body seem to have a constant craving for.

As young girls we dream of the perfect guy we picture ourselves to marry. As women we know the types of men we need to stay away from to protect our hearts. It's like seeing those hot shoes you want that you know you cant afford or don't really need but we have to try them anyway. It is desires like these that gets the best of us most of the times when the temptation is too close or too good to pass up. Nikki Cartwright is no exception when it comes to Jonas Steele, although they're in Sin City for business purposes, once she agrees to the Private Arrangement will the pleasure of doing business be worth it all. I love this story it flowed very well and Mrs. Jackson always gives updates us on the other family members.

Very disappointed 8 Feb. 2012

I've read her for years and thoroughly enjoyed the Madaris series. This book was a total disappointment. It wasn't a love story. It was porn and I'm no prude. Perhaps Mrs. Jackson should take her fingers out of so many pies and get back to the basics. "Go with what brung you."
