After her last disastrous relationship that cause her to lose her job and credibility, Samirah Jamison vows solely focus on getting her life in order instead of it revolving around a man. All is going according to plan that is until she meets a tall, handsome Latin sculptor by the name of Miguel Delgado who refuses to leave her alone.
From the moment he sees her horribly singing in a karaoke competition at his friend's bar, Miguel Delgado is charmed by Samirah Jamison's alluring mahogany beauty. Determined to have her, Miguel sets out to seduce her into his bed. Something that proves to be easier said than done because Samirah refuses to give him the time of day. Nevertheless, Miguel will not give up without a fight.
I found Private Acts to be an enjoyable, heartfelt story filled with passion and troubled yesteryear. Talk about opposites attracting; where Samirah is a carefree heroine who lives her life to the fullest who refuses to allow despair to define her; Miguel in turn is a dominant, guarded hero allowing his troubled youth to define his outlook on love. You can bet your bottom dollar that there is never a dull moment to be found. The chemistry between Samirah and Miguel is fabulous and their countless sexual encounters are steamy. This couple is evenly matched in every way possible, from witty dialogue to romantic interaction. This is one story not to be missed!
Private Acts is book three in Delaney Diamond's Hot Latin Men series and can be read as a standalone novel. Enjoy!
