In this review, I will not be reviewing the story of Prison Break, as I would encourage you to find out the story for yourselves, but I will be reviewing the blu-ray feature and how good it actually is. When it came to ordering Prison Break on blu-ray I knew I was going to get something that was out of this world, but I never thought it would have been this good. I have currently watched the whole of season 4 and now I am on to 1,2 and 3 (may I add that the final break is included and I have watched it). What I can say about Prison Break (I have watched it before on regular DVD) is that it is the best series I have ever seen and that Fox can feel proud of themselves for producing this fine series and Paul Scheuring (the creator) is a genius for creating and thinking of this television programme. It is utterly fantastic, compelling, it makes you want to watch it over and over and over again (as I do) and it's just simply jaw dropping entertainment where it makes you want to watch on and with ever changing scenarios. Now, on to the blu-ray side of things. Blu-ray is simply amazing for Prison Break (blu-ray and Prison Break go together like two peas in a pod) with its crystal clear definition, which is proved to be absolutely true with the quote ''the ultimate high definition experience'' on the back of each season. The definition is one to die for and it is quite simply stunning. Based on personal experience, the blu-ray feature for Prison Break is a big step up from the regular DVD feature and it is one definitely worth first purchasing and then watching. With the blu-ray feature, the audio is also ridiculously crisp and so clear, with every footstep, every piece of dialogue and every gunshot (yes, there are many gunshots) within the entire series of Prison Break and you will be able to every sound and background sound very clearly with consummate ease. On the whole, I would definitely encourage anyone reading this review of the blu-ray feature to join Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) on an intense, jaw dropping and quite brilliant adventure that will leave you on the edge of your seats. The series of Prison Break is out of this world and one not to be missed.
