If you want to have one book in orthopedics this should be !,

This is an excellent compedium of orthopaedic knowledge covering both the major branches of trauma and elective surgery. There is a good introduction to basic sciences and the references are up to date and excellent. This book should be a "must have" in the personal collection of all orthopaedic surgeons !

This book represents a core knowledge in orthopaedics. It is a good place to start your reading on most conditions faced in practice. The chapters are not exhaustive in their analysis of topics, hence a more detailed analysis of a topic would need to be supplemented with literature reading. e.g. Arthroplasty Highly recommended for the trainee in their first years of training to get started, or the more seasoned practitioner to quickly brush up! 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful:
