In the new 5th edition a number of earlier deficiencies have been overcome. The text has been updated and simplified and the artwork completely overhauled. New topics have been introduced and the whole text brought right up to date. If you want everything, get Flint Principles of Virology: 2 Volume Set, but for most undergraduate courses this book covers everything you'll need to know.
