Building on the success of The Principles of Business Economics and The Essence of the Economy by the same authors, this new text provides comprehensive coverage of the core principles of macroeconomics and explains how these macroeconomic concepts relate to government policy-making and the implications for the business environment.   User friendly, jargon-free and comprehensive in its approach, this book provides an in-depth analysis and explanation of macroeconomic theory and practice. The book illustrates how developments in the wider economy impact on government, business and consumers. A great MBA-ers book, a useful reference guide to deciphering the FT's more technical prose or even a way of self educating to a point of understanding what heavyweight economists and accountants are talking about.

Nothing is taken for granted and ideas are explained in a logical order and "findable" fashion.

A great "kick-off" book for those wanting to understand what occasionally appears to be someone else's' black-art or exclusively jargon-ed profession... it puts the reader firmly "in the know" and that's what it's all about.
