Product Description

The employee handbook they plunk down on your desk when you start a job tells you more than you ever wanted to know about the dental plan, the 401(k), and the heroic struggles of the company's founder.  But as far as how to get ahead on the job, it's your call.

Work Smart is your guide to the unwritten rules of how to think, look, and act at work.  We'll teach you how to project a professional image wherever you work and how to:

*learn the rules of office politics

*master the art of office communication
*cope with stress and burnout
*decide if, when, and how to leave your job

And if you're stuck in an unrewarding job without much to look forward to, we'll help you kick-start a successful career change.

Whether it's your first day on the job or you have a promotion or two behind you, Work Smart is your personal adviser for the daily issues, annoyances, and aspirations of life on the job.

--Don't know what questions to ask to help you grow in your career
