Very well-crafted Disney Production, much reminiscent of "Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl" blockbuster adventure-ride.
Keira Knightley's superb performance alone makes it worth watching many times. Excellent soundtrack keeps adventure rolling with well balanced script and extraordinary overall performance of all casts.
Insightful quotes such as "Life is a wild horse, ride it all it will ride you", "One man's desire should not cause another man's suffering", etc. makes it a perfect clean movie for its originally intended teen-audience demography, as weel as for the whole family. Unfortunately enough, it is really very hard to find any such movie these days which can claim the same.

The plot is based upon the adventures of 'Robin Hood's' Daughter, hence the title 'Princess of Thieves,' played by none other than 'Keira Knightly.' This film has much in common with the film 'Pirates of the Carribean,' exhibited by the perfect combination of humour, romance and adventure.

This is one of Keira Knightly's first films and you might expect this not to be worth watching. However, 'Knightly' gives a mature performance with acting talents equal to that as seen in 'Pirates of the Carribean.' The rest of the cast are also well chosen and deliver a surperb performance. Disney as usual make it great viewing for all ages and ensures that this film really delivers.

It's such a shame that this was never released in the UK. However, if you have multi-region dvd player then you will have no problem and I would definately recommend this.

I saw this film when i was around somebodys house.
At first, i thought id watch it cos of keira, but it turned out to be an enthralling love story, with action and adventure
This film is excellent
