Book Description

One tomboy princess.
Two mischievous princes.
And a pirate named Lancelot . . .

There's trouble brewing on Jamboree Island . . . FINALLY! Princess Sophie and friends have waited all summer for some excitement, so when they hear of a robbery at Wigglesworth Manor they know just what to do.

No hang on! Wait! They have no idea – but that won't stop them. The finger of suspicion points to that pirate Lancelot - but is it pointing the wrong way?

Who REALLY stole those precious jewels - and why? Set sail for an island adventure today - but watch out for the angry squirrel on your way! QUICK HIDE YOUR BOTTOMS - HE BITES!

Five stars is nowhere near enough for this delightful story. An absolute joy from beginning to end. Ms Topping has a great future in the world of children's literature. I can't wait for the next one!

Having downloaded this to my Kindle I decided to read it before the Grandchildren arrived and had to laugh when I get to Claude (I'm bored)as he so reminded me of my granddaughter who constantly said I'm bored, before she started going school. I am sure this will prove to be a very popular book with the children, who no doubt will look forward to further books of the Princess and her friends and their adventures. A delightful book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!! 3 Feb. 2014
Great story and very entertaining, loved it. My Nephew who's five found the characters very amusing and loved the silly, playful way with words the author has. I would also recommend this for slightly older children as this would have been right up my street when I started getting into reading. A must read.
