I'm a Heavy Metal kinda guy. Yeah, I listen to other stuff but for me the audio equivalent of comfort food is Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Rainbow and the like. But I happened on a YouTube video of a guy dancing to a song off this album and got hooked on the song. It was enough to buy the album and I wasn't disappointed. The songs range widely in tempo and mood but there is a good flow to the album as a whole. There are parts of it I can lose myself in while working on something and then there are the songs that grab my attention and set my feet to moving of their own accord. But what really surprised me was when this became my favorite album and I listened to it every day, often more than once, for several months. I've even sought out and purchased a few other albums in the same genre and that exploration was due to this album. I don't hand out too many 5-star reviews but I'm pretty set in my ways and when something changes my tastes, it deserves an exceptional rating.
