History will long tell the tale of Diana 11 May 2006

This is a book written for young adults, but as such, it's a pretty factual tale of Diana's life. Most pages are attractively written with text intertwined with great photos. No mention of the controversary over her death is brought up but the facts, as best they were known at printing, are all included. For anyone trying to get a quick overview of this very complex woman and her extraordinary life this is the place to begin. For a serious Dianaphile it is still a good reference book.

This book was smaller than I expected because DK Publishing tend to have oversized books with wonderful pictures and information. The book itself is okay,but I was hoping for a lot more considering it was from DK Publishing. I expected a nice glossy book with photos and specific descriptions for each. I got a nice little bio with very few photos, and great vocabulary. Nice but expected more.

THIS BOOK IS AN EXCELLENT ONE FOR DIANA-PHILES OR ONE JUST WANTING TO READ AN OVERVIEW OF HER LIFE. I NOTICED IT WAS GEARED TOWARDS YOUNG ADULTS, BUT I ORDERED IT ANYWAY BECAUSE DK ALWAYS HAS THE BEST BOOKS WITH TEXT MIXED WITH EXCELLENT PHOTOS & GRAPHICS. IT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT AND FEATURED AN EARLY PHOTO I HAD NEVER SEEN BEFORE. THIS BOOK IS WELL WORTH THE PRICE.
