4.0 out of 5 stars Good read 30 Oct 2014

The first thing to say about this book is that I enjoyed reading it and would look forward to any sequel.
If you like books of this genre, I would reccomend it.

On the slightly negative side, it would benefit immensely from being edited slightly, some of the reasoning and explanations behind the laws and customs etc, are very laboured and for me unnecessary, I found myself skimming forward in some places to get back to the story...
Also ...l some of the spelling is pretty poor, and sometimes incorrect words are used, sometimes words are completely missed out.... (Over enthusiastic spell checker ?).
These slightly negative comments don't detract from it being a good read, but would result in a more polished and even more readable book, IMHO.

4.0 out of 5 stars great read 10 Sep 2014

absolutely fantastic read. Held me from the first sentence.

if you are like me and you hate having to read a novel to the end only to find a cliff hanger, then this is definitely for you. I felt the ending was just right and even if there was a sequel, I feel that would be another story on its own as opposed to having loads of unanswered questions from this book.

don't know if this is too much praise, but I feel that the writer if he continually improves himself would be rated amongst the quality of steven king for me, in the not too distant future

5.0 out of 5 stars Prince of wolves 8 Oct 2014

This is the first time I have ever tried to review a book and not being the literary type I cannot do it like the experts do. What I will say is that from the very beginning I have been engrossed and unable to stop reading, full of intrigue, mystery, fantasy and magic, and a great story to boot. I think this would make a great TV series, or possibly a movie. X

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad editing 13 Sep 2014

The plot was a little confused, telling the story of the rise of a warrior. It was also a little cliche but ok for a holiday read. What is most annoying is the editing. Extraneous apostrophes, wrong word choices, far too many dashes. It was almost like the book had been badly translated. If you can ignore this, you may enjoy.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Prince of Wolves 27 Sep 2014

Very good story but I do wish tyhese authors would Take a few Spelling and Grammar lessons as it is so annoying to keep seeing the same spelling mistake or a completely wrong word used over and over agai. In this case instead of Hallowed use of haloed( I think it would help if the proof-readers could actually speak English.

4.0 out of 5 stars I thoroughly enjoyed this book 29 Sep 2014

A well thought out story that kept me reading. My only gripe is with the editing. The punctuation is appalling with commas all over the place, hyphens used instead of commas and the incorrect use of certain words is deplorable e.g. haloed instead of hallowed!

3.0 out of 5 stars enjoyable 16 Oct 2014

2 dimensional characters a lot of the time, quite a few plot holes, and could have done with a more thorough proof reading but despite that I actually really enjoyed the story and would recommend.
