Product Description

O-ports at 12 o'clock for improved performance. The new power ring string mount at the base of the head serves to reduce vibration from the strings and further enhance the sweet spot compared to a traditional string set up. Larger o-ports allows for a faster racket speed resulting in increased power, and greater string freedom to maximise the optimum hitting zone by up to 54% compared to traditional racket design. Comes complete with a full length protective headcover.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Game improvement racket 25 April 2010
By K. Khan
I tried a few different rackets but this is by far the best game improvement racket for intermediate to advanced players. It offers great control. One watch-out: there are two rackets in the Triple Threat Sovereign range, the Triple Threat Soverign Pro is definitely the better of the two.

5.0 out of 5 stars Used this racket for 8 years 21 May 2011
By John
I have played squash for 26 years. Out of those years I have used this racket for 8 years. I am so glad they keep manufacturing it. Normally a racket is made for a few years but this one has been going for such a long time.
Great balance between power and control. I am not keen on those super light rackets because they lose power. This one is still light but not too light.
As with almost all rackets the grip is too thin so adding a PU Super grip is the way to go for me.
Happy squashing!

4.0 out of 5 stars Much improved 16 Nov. 2011
Decent price for a Prince and I love the brand, have always used them. Unfortunately, received a dud one that broke after less than a month and only 6 or 7 matches. Disappointing as I did not hit wall/floor with the racket at any stage hard enough to cause damage but the head cracked and caved in on the side. Still on stock strings at Prince tension but the head just gave out.

Very good feel and control but just seems that this one was poorly made. A little disappointing.

2 weeks later: Have since had it replaced by the manufacturer, must have been a poor batch. Happy with the new one (thus far)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great racket 8 Jun. 2014
Have been playing about 10 years, have gone through a couple rackets and would re-buy this one anytime.

Great lower end weight of 135g, good weight distribution. Comes with useful wall-glide bumper and can take a lot of knocks.

Racket is a great racket, thought I had bought triple threat sov and I had bought triple threat sov pro and prefer it. I think it is a lighter racket. Great can recommend it.

Unfortunately it broke after only second use. Previous Prince racquets had lasted 5 years and more. Waiting on a replacement. So I hope it's not from the same batch.
