Being easily bored with platform games, I bought this with a sceptical view. So far I have been proved wrong. The story gradually unfolds (rather than boring you with everything for the first ten minutes or so of play) and progress happens. The puzzles are solveable and I soon began to get the hang of the movements. The best thing is that I do move on, and am not struggling for days on one problem, keeping me interested and not frustrated.
You do need to explore the notes though, otherwise you wont realise what the scrolls etc. offer, but this is a minor issue.
Image wise it looks great, is not clunky or difficult to control and I am having a fab time. I haven't enjoyed a game so much since I played Metroid Fusion.
I recommend it!

It's okay some of the puzzles were abit difficult and the combat is not good but if you liked the PS2 or PC version you may like this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great game, shame it's not a bit harder 20 Mar 2004

I quite like platform games, and I remember the original Prince of Persia games all those years ago, so I thought this would be a good 'un to get.
Graphically it looks great as far as GBA titles go, the animation of your player and the baddies are really smooth and fluid. The soundtrack sets the mood nicely.
The game lets you progress at a fairly quick pace and while some puzzles can at first seem tricky, there's nothing too difficult that can't be solved with a bit of perserverance. As the other comment mentions, I find this game in a very similar vein to Metroid Fusion.
My only criticism is perhaps the game isn't hard enough or the maps aren't just a little bigger, after a few days of play, I had it completed. However, it has made me want to try the game on the beefier platforms, so I'll probably get the Gamecube version soon.

Fun: 2.0 out of 5 stars
this game has very good graphics but i find very artistic. but the sounds are not the same as on the playstation. however i am not very keen on the game. i would rather play games that have a lot more action. but i would recommend it for people who like to play athletic games with a lot of jumping and running.
