5.0 out of 5 stars Grand Fairy Fun! 26 Jan 2009
We love reading the Fairy Chronicles, it has become our most favored bedtime story series. Three children and mum snuggle up and go on the adventures with the fairies. We love the characters in this book especially the gremlin. The pictures add to the fun and we end up reading far longer than we should for one bedtime; however, staying up late with the fairies is grand fun! As with the last one we read (Mimosa and the River of Wisdom) this has a real story mixed with a magical one. We like that because we feel we are connected to the adventures. We will read this book again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Magic, Gremlins, Snowglobes, Fairies 29 May 2009
This book has a fantastic assortment of characters and a fun adventure with other interesting items like snowglobes and wishes thrown in. It's not strictly about Christmas, so it's a good year round book for someone who likes magical adventure. It is a story about being yourself and others accepting that. Primrose does a good job of leading this fairy mission. I like the idea of "thinker fairies", with the girls using their heads to solve problems. I have become more enchanted with this series over the years; this book is a particular favorite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Contemporary fairytales! Becoming classics! 3 Jun 2008

J. H. Sweet ...
What a treat ...
Writing about fairies,
she can't be beat.

Book one was pure delight;
Book two is "out of sight."

Book three is a kid's dream,
Book four will make them beam.

But wait till you see what's in store;
of fairy books, she has plenty more.

Each of this author's books stands alone as far as story-line, and I discovered something new about fairies and fairy lore in each one. She's a fine writer, so good at her craft that the fairies practically fly off the pages, straight into your heart. Interesting story-lines, contemporary children, colorful characters in an exciting, entertaining format.

I have this entire series, including the few that were published by another publisher ... which are collector's items now. I'm always pleased to find the latest "fairies" flying around in my mailbox after ordering the latest release from Amazon.

This entire series, including this latest, Primrose and the Magic Snowglobe (Fairy Chronicles) is highly recommended. Grab 'em while you can.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny 25 Jun 2009
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
It is so funny that the gremlin wants to fix things. The dwarf wants to tell secrets and that is against all dwarf rules. The gargoyle won't sit still on top of the church like he is supposed to. The fairies fix the problem but you won't guess how because there is a magic snow globe in the book. This is a funny book and I liked it.
