I saw these guys live at Nottingham Rock City as they were supporting Edguy and DragonForce on the Inhuman Rampage tour and they were amazing. They opened the show with incredible style, and were actually better in most people's opinions than DragonForce that night.
The song Primo Victoria is amazing, based on the fall of the Nazi regime at the hands of the British. The chorus:
Through the gates of hell
as we make our way to heaven through the nazi lines
Primo Victoria
Just amazing! Get this album!!!

I saw these guys with Edguy and the 'Force in Glasgow, and they were awsome! The album itself is also a great bit of work. Every song feels like it belongs there.
On a side note, the guys are also great folk. We bumped into them after the gig, and they joined us on the hunt for food. . .
So, support starving musicians. BUY THIS ALBUM!!!

Put simply Primo Victoria is fantastic. from the moment you hear the first chords of the title track you know your in for a treat. from then on the album maintains its high standard; sabatons flair for using meaningful yet highly listenable music means that there isnt a bad track on the album.

personal favourite tracks are Primo Victoria and Wolfpack, look them up on Youtube and that will give you a pretty good idea of what this album is about.

For fans of Iron Maiden, Saxon, and battle/power metal.

Hi! I'm a 50 something mum, who grew up, listening to the likes of The Stones, Hendrix, Nice, Taste etc. I bought this for my teenage son, but I love it- especially the title track. It really gets the adrenalin going! He thinks it's good too. Looking forward to seeing them live.

If you like heavy, power metal and war buy this album. Every track is about war, from World War 2 to Iraq etc. I saw them in Glasgow opening for Dragonforce and Edguy and was hooked.
Buy this cd, you will love it.

Sabaton are one of the great (relatively) undiscovered metal bands to emerge in recent years. They are a breath of fresh air and this album in particular is outstanding. It contains some of the most rousing and emotive songs/performances I've heard in a very long time. If you like anything approaching rock or metal music then do yourself a favour a get this album - get any of their albums, but especially this one.....ABSOLUTELY SUPERB.

I really like this band, I first heard them on Team Rock Radio and had to buy the album. They are not like the majority of the music that I would listen to. I tend to tread in the heavier direction of rock/metal than these guys are.
But they are just good fun, and really really good "fun". Kind of like Evil Scarecrow. obviously not in the genre of music but in that stupidly brilliant and well done style.

Nothing like a bit of battle metal to get fired up for work in the morning!
