I recently bought this book to help with my studies at university. I am currently training as a primary school teacher and wanted to improve my subject knowledge. This book is great for discovering those areas of science you flag up as an area of weakness which you can then later choose a specific area of science to focus more study on. This book doesn't include the information for every topic you need to know however asks questions designed to get you thinking about your curretn subject knowledge.

This book is excellent if you, like me, are having to do a skills audit for Uni and dont really know where to start. The book is in sections, first of all you say where you think you are, then you test yourself and find out where you really are - hmmm. It was useful, very easy to use and a good starting point to brush up on rusty skills.
