This book is excellent if you, like me, are having to do a skills audit for Uni and dont really know where to start. The book is in sections, first of all you say where you think you are, then you test yourself and find out where you really are - hmmm. It was useful, very easy to use and a good starting point to brush up on rusty skills.

well the book is fit for purpose, although far from a holiday read. seems thorough, and i've now passed all of the audit sections.

This book is great! It was listed as a core text for my PGCE in upper primary and I have found it really useful so far. Would definitely recommend it.

I am so happy I bought this book. IT really helped me to test my knowledge of primary mathematics and look at my strengths and weaknesses.
