Nick Blinko is 'shot away.' Anyone familiar with the music of Rudimentary Peni will already know, or at least have a jolly good idea of this fact. This book gives an insight into just how shot away he is, and also a small glance as to why. Anyone who likes Rudimentary Peni or is familiar with the art of Nick Blinko, which really is bizarre (speaking as someone who knows little about drawing and painting) will find this book essential for even a partial understanding of the man. Anyone else will not be able to appreciate the book fully, however it is still an absorbing semi fictional tale of psychiatrist's dealings with a young man in a state of suicidal despair, set in an English Village in the early 1980's.
