There's a New Grace Metalious in town...

...and if you have to ask who Grace Metalious is, you're probably the right age to appreciate this author's work. For the record, Ms. Metalious (I'm sure she'd approve of the use of that salutation) is the author of Peyton Place, a novel so steamy and controversial at the time it was written (early '50s, if memory serves me) that it was banned in many libraries - certainly school libraries. Today, there are very few authors who are brave enough - or talented enough - to push the boundaries of acceptable erotic fiction; Jess Scott is both. This collection of erotic short stories is both titillating and entertaining at the same time, with just the right mix of humor and sarcasm to temper the sexuality. The only reason I gave four stars rather than five is for the sometimes inconsistent style, especially relating to the use of numbers. I believe that this talented raconteuse has a bright future in front of her - especially if she decides to get "serious." CAUTION: This work is definitely not for prudes or minors.
