I first saw this film at the Broadway in Nottingham, where the director gave a talk before and after the screening. I have fond memories of that evening, and of the film, so the low score is definitely NOT for the film: it's for Amazon's increasingly erratic, random, inaccurate product information.
The DVD that I just received contains only the short version of the film (94 mins), and almost none of the extras listed above by Amazon.
My version has no commentary, making-of, cast or director interviews, and certainly no "extended" cut (supposedly 125 mins, although online research suggests that Christopher Miles himself cut down the long version to 99 mins in 1985. Maybe the film lost another five minutes in the ensuing 15 years due to fluctuating exchange rates or global warming, what do I know?).
If you really want the long version with all the extras, it might be an idea to ask the seller before ordering. That said, I just asked Zoverstocks and they can't tell me which version they're selling. :-(
