Shades of Grey eclipsed by new novel [Bared to You] Evening Standard Several shades sexier and a hundred degrees hotter Woman

Product Description

Wealth Has Its Dangers. . .

There are disadvantages to being an heiress, as Eliza Martin knows well. Fortune hunters corner her, friends become opportunistic, and lately, someone is engineering "accidents" to propel her into marriage. Not one to be bullied, Eliza needs the right man to infiltrate the nest of suitors. . .

. . .So Do Certain Men

By all measures, Jasper Bond is the wrong man for the job. He can't dance, isn't known for his restraint, and his blood heats whenever he's near his latest employer. Eliza Martin insists no one will believe an intellectual like her could be seduced by a man of action like Jasper, but the combination of his desire and her mystery makes the case one he can't resist. Client satisfaction is a point of pride and it's his pleasure to prove he's just the man she needs after all...

5.0 out of 5 stars I could not put it down until i'd read it all. 16 Feb 2012

<<May contain spoilers>>
I really enjoy reading historical romances and I couldnt wait to read this one. It did not disapoint.
An alpha male who doesn't,think he is good enough for the heroine. A heroine who you are able to relate with and even want to be sometimes and a cast of characters who help the story along nicely.
Miss Martin is having a few problems, she fears her suiters are trying to force her into marriage by scaring her so she hires a thief taker. In comes Mr Bond who straight away puts Miss Martin on edge. She finds herself drawn to him like no other and there the story starts.A possessive, bossy and absolutely gorgeous man and an innocent lady who finds herself wanting to be possessed by the thief taker more than she will admit. He encourages her to be herself and by doing that , he captures her heart.
I really enjoyed this story and will look at others stories by the author. A highly recommended read.

I am working my way through all of Sylvia Day's books and have loved them all including this one, sometimes its just nice to read a story that is in just one book instead of waiting for the next one in the trilogy to come out and this one was gripping and enjoyable to the end, couldn't put it down.

5.0 out of 5 stars quite riveting 15 Jan 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
this book is marvellous especially if you like period dramas well as subtle seduction also. it does give explicit scenes but nothing too in depth.what I like is that there is a love story to be told .I could not put it down as Sylvia Days characters are all passionate and good people and you begin to feel that you want to be that person. well worth reading.

Really enjoyed this book after reading Sylvia's Crossfire Novels. I believe she got the sense of period across well and how reserved one had to be in years gone by.
