Does all you could want of a teapot....the lid is secure and it pours very well without any dribbling.

Whilst described as a 2 cup pot the cups would need to be fairly small (the actual capacity is 400ml).

The mug that I drink out of is on the large size and after filling it there is not much left in the pot.

Overall I am pleased with my purchase and it looks just as smart in the flesh as it does in the photos.

Attractive teapot and a good size for two decent cups. Solid and keeps the tea hot if you warm the pot properly.

My one gripe is the spout - if you use a teabag it tends to get stuck in the spout when pouring and then slips so you sometimes get a big spurt of tea which overshoots the cup. Very annoying. Beware. Pots that have a barrier at the base of the spout - like this one - London Pottery 2 Cup Globe Teapot Ivory- don't have this problem. Or you could use tea leaves.

I have both pots and I prefer the globe for this reason.

Bought this for my friend who loves tea but because she's by herself will only make a teabag in a cup which tastes gross in comparison to tea that has been brewed in a pot. She was thrilled when she received this but was disheartened by the lack of tea cosies in this size so has since made her own. Good sized teapot for one and fits 2 standard mugs of tea :)

I purchased this teapot for my new flat and even though it does say 2cup teapot, it is particularly on the small side.

Other than that, i'm fairly happy with this product.

Perfect for a morning cup of tea for one person using a mug, or two people using small porcelain cups. It will hold about 450ml of water with the lid on. Available in many different colours, comes well packed in a box.

I would also recommend a Tescoma Tea Ball Infuser with Caddy if you like using loose tea. I use white tea because the leaves are bigger, so do not come out of the little holes and the chain can be trapped by the teapot lid.

Have since moved up to a London Pottery 4 Cup Filter Teapot which is really brilliant.

this photograph portrays the teapot larger than it actually is,also it is not really big enough to hold two cups as stated

I very rarely drink tea but when I do I must admit I like it in a bone china cup and also made in a teapot and this little one is just the job and sits on the shelf in the kitchen which I have collected lots of red accessories etc and so it serves the purpose plus is decorative - well as decorative as a teapot can be!!
