The Prestige Synergy is a well built, good value, plastic toaster with a removable crumb tray and all the usual features you'd expect. It's not particularly fast, but it's not overly slow either, with it taking about the same time as my previous Russell Hobbs Classic on a comparable brownness setting.
The only downside for me is the short, shallow slots for the bread. It barely fits a slice from a Hovis 800g loaf, and there's no way it could properly toast a thick slice of home baked bread or a bagel.

Great item, works very well, is compact, looks good, matches my kettle of the same range/brand - which is to say, it's purple! And at a discount of 43%, the price is excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this item.

This 2 slice toaster is compact and the colour plum is really nice. I love the fact that when the bread goes in the on button goes blue! toasts well also.
