Before use, wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
For best results when baking, lightly grease before each use.
Suitable for oven use to temperature 240°C/475°F or Gas Mark 9.
Do not use in microwaves Not suitable for use over direct heat or under grills.

After each use, wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly before storage.
Suitable for use in a dishwasher, remove immediately after cycle and thoroughly dry before storage.

Beautifully made, absolutely non-stick. Excellent baking. BUT it is NOT a two pound tin! The internal dimensions are only 20cm.x 10cm. and it's only 6cm deep. Compare this with a 'standard' 2lb loaf tin which measures 25 cm. x 12 cm by 7.5 cm deep internally - i.e. nearly DOUBLE this one in volume. If you're following any modern recipe for a 1kg mix, you will need TWO of these size tins. So, beware! Even if you raise the sides of the tin with baking paper, so the the dough doesn't overflow, as it would otherwise, you'll get a 'definitely dainty' loaf - OK for 'posh' afternoon teas but nowhere near the size of your standard 'Hovis' or supermarket loaf, which is what you'd expect from the description.

I like this loaf tin - it's a good weight and it does the job pretty well. HOWEVER, do not depend on it's non-stick ability lasting long-term. I have used this tin to make fruit loaves twice a week for the last four months and I have found that the tin needs to be well-greased and still occasionally sticks. It is irritating to think that it needs replacing already, as it's been used (at a low temperature) for only a few dozen occasions, but I am keeping an eye out for a better quality one which will last longer.

I found this loaf pan perfect for my needs. it bakes well, and even. right depth and length. non-stick and so easy to clean. perfect for madeira cake, banana bread, date and walnut cake etc. obviously can also be used to make home-made bread. its perfect for the larger recipes, and makes a lovely big loaf. it says its a 2lb loaf pan, and it certainly is! would recommend!
