The jug is light and made of very strong but quite thin plastic, it has survived a year of daily dishwasher washes and many drops to the floor, all the markings are still clear not faded at all, buy this rather than the Pyrex one.

This is ok, the plastic seems rather thin and the handle is very flimsy. If filled to the top it feels like the handle could snap off. I have to hold it from the underneath to make it feel safer not to drop the contents on the floor.

Strong, sturdy and light, this is the perfect measuring jug for the home cook. I would definitely recommend it to both US and metric users.

Durable
At first I thought it'd be really flimsy but it's actually really sturdy and gets the job done. I don't use it a lot but when I do it hasn't failed me yet.

Tough but stains
It's tough than a pyrex jug, but stains if used to heat sauces in microwave. Gone back to using pyrex jugs.
