Never experienced such problems with a kettle before. I have bought this kettle 3 times (stupid me). The first kettle leaked after 1 week. I got this replaced with a second one which became rusty around the water gage after a month. The switch on the third replacement broke after 3 months. I am now waiting to see if the manufacturer will refund me the money I have wasted on this kettle as I have lost the receipt. Don't know why I have wasted so much time persevering on this make. I have now bought a Kenwood kettle which is proving a lot more reliable.

This is a beautiful kettle that I had my eye on for some time and brought it recently on Amazon. However in the space of a month it has picked up 2 nasty scratches that are PERMANENT! This has a fragile outer coating that is easily marked and scratched. Such a shame because its beautifully made and works perfectly.
