Never had a better knife sharpener. You know all those things you pay a fortune for and try to convince yourself they were worth it? Well throw them away and get one of these. Run the blade under cold water and just pull it through the knife sharpener a couple of times. It shaves off the tiniest bit of metal - if the knife is very blunt push a bit harder and then just ease the pressure off for a few more swipes and you have a perfectly sharpened knife! Because is does really sharpen and there will be tiny particles of metal, remember the wipe the blade on something carefully before you use it.

At last - a sharpener that actually sharpens knives. Would recommend doing it on a very stable surface, on newspaper or something. You get lots of very fine filings so wipe/wash the knives carefully afterwards. Be careful with the knives - I was shocked at how sharp they ended up! Cut myself twice within an hour! Very good sharpener, far superior to the two I've had before.

Bought this knife sharpener off amazon, we have one at work and just had to have one. It is really good and sharpens your knives really well. Infact so sharp i have cut my fingers while doing the washing up.
