Its a shame that I had to return this item within a few days .... I was looking for a well-made and good looking replacement toaster. The Prestige 50634 Deco seemed to tick all the boxes - cost was great too - however, despite ignoring some previous reviews about faults I went ahead and bought it.
Sure enough on recieving it and plugging in - I found the two of the elements did not work - so toasted on just one side of bread.
Not impressed. Surely when so many reviewers point out similar problems the company should recall the toasters. If they think that it is a case of letting it go and some will get returned some wont - then what about the customers like myself who are unlikely ever to buy the brand or recommend it.
Doesn't seem like a good business model.

I really like this toaster which replaced my morphy richards. It is big enough to take most slices of bread sideways which means that ALL the slice gets toasted and the slots are wide enough to take a good thick slice. I like the reheat option as well. If I wanted to be super critical it would be that it takes a little longer but the results are worth while. Also the browning option is a little difficult to see. The control slides and the number options are below it. The numbers are black and quite small but once you know where you like it set it is easy to use without looking at the numbers. Well worth the money

It was advertised as black and chrome but actually turned out to be almond. It was no big deal as it looks a stylish machine. Toasts very efficiently and quickly, and the reheat facility is great and doesn't dry out the bread. My only little gripe is that it doesn't accommodate Warburton's bread and so you have to cut off the ends to fit, but it's only a slight niggle.

Long slow death
After a couple of months an element on one side gave up the ghost. After 13 months 2 of the 4 toast slots have failed. Typical built in obsolescence. Would NOT recommend.
