5.0 out of 5 stars Press Here 21 April 2011
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
This is a magnificent book for children. There are no lights or music or gadgets - the joy is in imagination and the printed page. The book begins with a simple yellow dot and the instruction to press here and turn the page. More dots appear, and the reader is urged to tap this one or rub this one, gently. The dots multiply, change and generally react, seemingly, to the childs response. Wonderful fun and great for language development and following simple instructions. This really is an unusual and entertaining book and my daughter wanted to do it again - and again - and again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and brilliant 6 Feb 2012
This is a very clever and appealing book which really engages young children. The satisfyingly simple text and images are original and amusing. A great antidote for the attitude of 'it's only a book'.

This is a magical book! Although nothing really happens when you press the dots, the anticipation about what is on the next page is wonderful. Fully recommended

4.0 out of 5 stars A hit! 17 Sep 2014
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
My 2.5yr old daughter loves pushing buttons. The remote control buttons, washing machine buttons, emergency buttons, my buttons...So a book all about pressing buttons is right up her alley. I like it because it gets the child to follow simple directions, without my little rebel even realising. It's a lovely book and very addictive, it's bigger than I expected which is nice but 4 stars bea cause the pages are not board ,so both I and my daughter find it a bit tricky turning the pages and it means I can't leave her or the little brother alone with it because they just looooove tearing pages.

My twin 3.5 year old boys absolutely loved this book and I had to read it 3 times back to back and they still wanted more but I had to put it away to stop it getting boring. Very simple but clever and arouses their imagination.

Bought for a friend's one year old child who loves it, as does his dad. Brilliant for the iPad generation - it goes to show that a good book is every bit as good if not better.

So different to the usual book for children on sale these days. They all seem to have a flap to open, a texture to feel or a button that makes a sound. Read more
